Lunchtimes

All of our children remain at school during the mid-day break when they can either have a prepared school meal or bring a packed lunch. All children are supervised during the lunch break and are not allowed to leave the school site.

School lunches

Each school has its own kitchen, run by Chartwells, which produces a choice of well-balanced meals every day.

There are three choices of menu daily, at least one of which is always vegetarian.  Fresh fruit, salad, yoghurt and water are also available daily. Please see below for the current menu choices.

School lunches are free for all Infant School children. For Junior School children, school lunches cost £2.75 per day.  Please pay for lunches in advance using Arbor.

 Food Allergies

If your child has a food allergy and requires a special diet for medical reasons, you will need to register with Chartwells and they will work with you to provide a special menu for school lunches.  Please fill out the Medical Diet Request Form at the link below and return to the school office to be sent to Chartwells.

Are you entitled to Free School Meals?

Did you know... just registering your child for Free School Meals entitles the school to extra Government funding - even if you choose not to have the free lunches!

The school currently receives more than £1300 per child, which can be used to support your child’s education, so please check if you think you may be eligible. All information is treated with complete confidentiality.

Packed lunches

As a school we aim to promote a healthy lifestyle. If you choose to provide a packed lunch for your child, please ensure that this contains a healthy balanced meal and does not contain sweets or chocolates.  We are a nut-free school so please avoid all nut products. Thank you for your support with this.
