Overview
Job Title: Cleaner
A cleaner is required to join our lovely team in our very busy school.
Hours: 4pm - 7pm Monday to Friday, 42 weeks per year (term time plus 3 weeks during school holidays).
We are looking for someone who has excellent cleaning skills with a positive approach and outlook. We have a great team of staff who are supportive, creative and focused on providing the best educational environment for all children. Job Description
Key Responsibilities

To carry out a range of defined cleaning duties within a specific area, in line with agreed procedures and standards

Maintain observation on maintenance requirements and report any deficiencies to the site manager

Carry out a risk assessment when moving furniture, ensure chemicals are stored appropriately

Notify the site manager when stocks are low

Maintain observation of security of area of working and report any potential security breach to the site manager, business manager or SLT
-
Awareness of health and safety policy and practice as it applies to the post

Determine cleaning priorities where appropriate, in accordance with the school’s cleaning standards

Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is Scale A step 3. (FTE £24,415). You will be paid pro rata for 47.9 weeks per year (this includes holiday pay) and your salary will be paid in equal amounts over 12 months.
